Wet Scrubbers have been in the industrial air cleaning industry for a very long time. And not without a reason, the system is robust, reliable and very low in use a spare parts.
The Van Dijk Systems wet Scrubber is very robust and reliable. It is made from 3 to 5 mm thick steel coated with a two component polyurethane layer.
The ventilator and water connection points are integrated in the housing, making a very compact design requiring relatively little floor space.
Dust laden air enters through the inlet at the middle of the scrubber. The centrifugal forces take the larger parts out of the air. Metal plates inside the scrubber create small vortex flows ensuring small particles being adapted in the water.
The cyclone’s centrifugal forces flow downwards to the sludge bin, where the water is still enough to let the particles settle and the clean air exits the the outlet of the scrubber.
The Aquaclean wet scrubber can be used in many applications like:
- Cutting of metal
- Glass industry
- Die casting
- Rubber industry
- Plastic processing
