Spark Arrestor

 

 

Many processes like Oxygen cutting create sparks that can damage your dust collector or even cause a fire. The Van Dijk Systems Spark Arrestor protects the dust collector by using the kinetic energy of the sparks and channeling thema way into a seperate dust bin.

 

The spark arrestor is in- line and can therefore easily be placed in applications that already exist.

 

Unlike conventional perforated plate-type arrestors, the Van Dijk Systems Spark Arrestor works by creating torturous paths that give sparks and embers more time to lose the energy that they contain as they are directed to a safe area, while adding very little static pressure loss to the system. In addition, it is less likely to plug and accumulate material than perforated spark baffle systems.
